The core-component of JLQ - Jack's List Quorum was its skills sharing capacity as well as a weekly conference call that creates a platform for individuals to speak to their challenges and how they are overcoming them – creating a experience loop that everyone can gain from. 

 

Secondly, the Lists – or Indexes – of various “Green Industry Resources” were to be slowly added to until a public resource births from the aggregation of peer-reviewed resources – most commonly – products, companies, services, and ancillary, or supporting products, companies, and services.

This amounts to great deal of resources to be indexed – as the Green Economy is exploding and the entrance of thespians, shysters, fraud-artists, and snake-oil salesmen has been both impressive and troubling at the same time.  I have put together “JACK’S LIST” to serve as an index of “Lists” that make up at least a portion of the “reasonable” “peer-supported” and “stamp of quality assurance” companies and services that make up the backbone of any economic explosion.  There will be good actors, bad actors, and people made apathetic to the sheer speed of growth – it’s like trying to take wind measurements from inside the cone of a tornado.

Lastly, I wanted Mighty Host to serve as a platform for Jack’s List Quorum where people who have been whipsawed and shell-shocked by the mainstream media and social networking and the constant deluge of questionable and openly obviously propaganda content and subterfuge can come and read some quality content, comment respectfully and expect a common decency from other members, and perhaps even some high quality exchange of ideas, given there is a major quotient of experience among many of our members.  It can be said that the “cannabis content” of our day has already been hijacked by the media outlets and now it is up to us to have “inner conversations” among ourselves about what our accepted narrative around cannabis will be – as the contrived corporate narrative has not changed in 110 years – we continue to see the media coddle the hierarchy that profits from the racket of prohibition and Jack’s List Quorum serves as a place on the internet where people can speak freely about what they are observing and the how corporatism is ruining legalization just like the railroad ruined agrarian life for many farmers, ranchers, and privacy advocates.

Here are a few of the things I’ve learned over the past 24 months trying to launch a social network that has an actual underpinning of social justice behind it:

• You will only grow through organic networking and word of mouth.  New members need to feel compelled to share their positive experience with potential members so that a rate of growth is established and the referral of new members is constant. 

• Physical rewards, prizes, gifts are likely the best way to award referrals and diplomacy for getting members to help spread the word about a new networking resource

• Be absolutely sure you understand how your social networking platform has separated paid resources between their plans – do not make the mistake of thinking your community will get something with their package that debuts with other, more expensive packages (Mighty Host changed their packaging at the last minute and made it vastly more expensive to skill share on their platform)

• Do not get your primary social networking profile “shadow banned” so that your organic reach is diminished (this has been the case with Canna Clatch on FB since Aug 2018 when I posted about Palestine and a ethnic cleansing video concerning local inhabitants and relocation – settlements)

I didn’t plan on the exodus away from Facebook – Twitter – LinkedIn to be slow.  I assumed the continued denial of rights against Chelsie Manning, Julian Assange, the renewal of the Patriot Act that codifies all the social networking snooping would send the world into a diaspora online – perhaps it is still coming – but it appears currently that Facebook can do no wrong in the eyes of its users – even with the recent “secret meetings” between Zuckerberg and the White House, it doesn’t seem to be creating a common sense unrestful feeling in the pit of the stomachs of users.

I didn’t think it would be difficult to incentivize the spreading of the network through “good will” “altruism” and a hope to create something of substance while creating a safe space, a private space, and a skill sharing platform.

I also didn’t think it would be so difficult to moderate, admin and provide content for a social platform, providing a weekly conference call – consistently and with continued spirit.  The chamber needs at least a few bodies or it becomes an echo chamber – and that’s largely how the conference calls materialized. 

​

Timing in life is everything and it can be said that doing everything perfectly in the wrong timing is just as defeating as doing all the wrong things at any time.  Jack’s List dot Solutions and the Private Quorum it provides for – is something that has been a humbling process of clarifying and distilling communication down to it’s most essential parts – making everything tangibly delicious to come across.
